Our school improvement plan allows us to develop processes, practices, and policies to achieve DoDEA's Community Strategic Plan. Our goal is to maintain and improve the quality of our school.
School improvement is a DoDEA requirement worldwide. Its goal is to improve both teaching and learning. While general goals are determined by DoDEA, individual schools are responsible for determining the needs of their unique student population. This year, we will be implementing our new SIP goals in reading and science.
Another aspect of both of these goals is communicating information about school improvement with parents and the community.
All SAES stakeholders play an important part in the continuous school improvement process. Stakeholders include students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community members. Student Achievement improves when all stakeholders are involved in the school improvement process. Parents, community members, and school staff play significant roles in the school improvement process.
